The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning located in East Melbourne needed its open office spaces to reflect the diversity seen in the Australian environment. Winya worked to ensure that The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning reflected that rich diversity through use of Indigenous fabrics. The result? An office with open plan settings full of colour and life represented through culturally significant designs.
Winya utilised ottomans and visitor chairs in several varieties of our house Indigenous fabrics. The fabrics chosen work in unity with other house fabrics allowing for the Indigenous designed fabrics to create pops of colour while blending seamlessly together.
