Wilkhahn’s task chair is customizable to any aesthetic. For example, from a combination of two seat shells, six colours, four styles of upholstery, and six frames (including wheeled, 4legged and 2 legged), 288 versions are created. Ideal for multipurpose or seminar rooms, meetings, cafeterias, co-working spaces, or home offices!

Clamped to the upholstery are covers with contour stitching in the seat and backrest. When making the fabric and leather covers, more material and less tension are used. Consequentially, this creates a looser fit. Specifically, looser fit upholstery is an exceptionally soft and comfortable style of upholstery that yields to a greater extent when subjected to a load.
The Unitary seat shell and the backrest shell are made of moulded plywood, fully padded and covered with PUR moulded foam. Additionally, hidden screws hold together the seat and backrest shells.
If the non-slip felt pad or upholstery element attached to the seat and backrest becomes damaged or dirty, it is easily replaceable. Furthermore, each part of the chair’ construction meets Wilkhahn’s commitments to an environmentally responsible design concept.
